ABOUT KRISTEN SCHWARTZ

I’ve been a graphic designer and illustrator since 1985 and a web designer since 2002, but my true passion is illustrating. I created Faery Medicine in 1995 when I began combining my medincinal botanical book illustrations with faeries for educational exhibits. These exhibits sought to communicate historical information about the world uses of medicinal plants in an entertaining way. Since then my range of illustrations has grown particularly strong in the children’s market.
